Your Financial Blueprint

The same way your fingerprint is your own unique non-duplicate individual reflection of who you are, your financial blueprint is yours template for how you relate to money. No matter what you try to change on the exterior, you will never have the kind of relationship with money that you want unless you change the template that determines your relationship with money.
Sometimes we may feel broke and sense a lot of financial lack in our lives but your lack may not have anything to do with actual dollars and cents.
It may be something not related to finances.
It may be related to something totally different.
For instance, my client E. E had a long history of feeling abandoned by everyone around her. She was happily married but she still felt lonely and often had arguments with her husband that severely disintegrated the nature of their relationship. As she identified the energy of abandonment within her, she made a commitment to heal the wounds that her thoughts about abandonment had created within her.
Then she was surprised when I asked her to appreciate the abandonment and see which ways it had served her.
As she observed how often it had come up in her life, she realized that she pushed people away because she felt her needs were too much for others to handle. She realized that she did not want to risk being vulnerable with people because if she was not vulnerable, she would not get hurt.
Well, instead of not getting hurt by being too vulnerable to others, she was hurt by allowing the flow of abandonment in her life which hurt equally.
She realized that her feelings of abandonment were really a reflection of how she had abandoned herself as she did not trust that she could create warm loving relationships. As she allowed herself to love those parts of herself that felt abandoned, one day she had an image in her mind as to how she had done the same thing with money.
She had pushed money away not wanting to be abandoned by money.
As we worked on her healing the theme of abandonment in her energy pattern, and she allowed love to flow evenly in her life, her relationship with money opened up and she received more money flow in her life.
The law of attraction says what we focus on expands. Many times, we do not realize that we are focused on things that are anti what we want. That is why what we want does not show up in our lives.
How can you heal your financial blueprint?
What themes show up in different areas of your life?
What would your authentic financial blueprint look like?

Hi!
I am glad to have found this article. It is refreshing to see other professionals out there who are coaching people about their relationship with their money.. For so long, we have been ill advised about money and I am happy to see the slow change that is happening.
I also work with clients (from a holistic perspective) on what I call their “Money Personality”. Being broke or not having money, often times has nothing to do with the physical flow of cash…but more to do with what is going on with us energetically. Change your energy (or rather your financial blueprint as you succinctly state) and change your life. I learn and work with this lesson everyday
This is great and I will be sure to follow your blog and follow you on Twitter! Look forward to reading more.
Take Care
Evelyn

Thanks for another insightful piece Iyabo!
Don’t we all wish our interactions with “money” weren’t so complicated?

Glad I found your site. I enjoyed the article and listening to the audio about your financial blueprint. I like the idea of getting more friendly with “him”. I think it’s time to embrace him like a cupcake rather than an unwelcome guest!
